KV Cnc : an RR Lyrae with irregular Blazhko modulations

Pulsation period : 0.5020802 ±0.0000078 day

With a pulsation close to an half day, the times of light curve maxima are delayed by 6 minutes per day. This daily delay regularly leads to long periods of time without maximum light curve observations for a given site. To cope with this observing time window problem, we have organized a multi-longitude observation campaign including observers from Belgium, France, Massachusetts, New Mexico and Montana.

Two different Blazhko periods have been identified: 77.8± 0.05 and 42.39 ± 0.03 days
